The two-drum winder for narrow slits of paper and board

The two-drum winder U 16 can be used for efficiently converting most papers from very thin to rather thick and it is specialized for narrow slits, thanks to its specific configuration enabling perfect quality and bobbin separation with minimum slitting widths as narrow as 70 mm.

The U 16 is the perfect solution for cigarette and tea bag production as well as for a large variety of other materials wherever narrow slits are required: in many cases, the U16 enables to carry out in one single step the operations that traditionally need two separate processes.

In fact it can take directly the wide rolls coming out of the paper making machine and produce directly the final narrow bobbins without the need to separate this process into two steps.
