Successful presentation of GOEBEL IMS at K 2016
Darmstadt, November 2016 – GOEBEL IMS is looking back on a highly successful exhibition at K 2016 in Düsseldorf. International film industry experts experienced GOEBEL IMS’ latest addition to the primary machine portfolio, the INTERSLIT.
Already prior to the official launch, GOEBEL IMS has been awarded orders for seven INTERSLIT slitter rewinders from Korea, China and Japan. GOEBEL IMS’ engineers have developed another state-of-the-art slitter rewinder that fulfills the special film industry’s latest demands for productivity and precision. The new primary slitter series is suitable for converting special films such as capacitor films, battery separator films or thick films for industrial or optical applications. Available either as a basic machine or with advanced technical functions and automation technology, the new primary slitter processes widths between 4,000 mm and 7,000 mm and, thus, offers maximum flexibility while guaranteeing highest quality. “We have seen great interest in our slitting and winding solutions for special film applications and are expecting further investments not only in this market but also in the standard packaging films sector”, says Sebastian Lange, Sales Director Film at GOEBEL IMS. In addition to the full range of machines, GOEBEL IMS’ modern booth at K 2016 showcased the twin-shaft winding machine RWO which was built in 1939. This historical machine illustrates GOEBEL IMS’ long-time experience in manufacturing machines for the film industry. “This year’s K proved very successful, leading to many intensive discussions and positive reactions and, thus, reassuring us that we are meeting the market’s demand with our slitting and winding solutions”, concludes Harald Knechtel, Managing Director Sales and Marketing.
